In the Crusade issue, he recalls a 15t-century threat to his land, a time when he was partnered with his long-lost love, he first encountered a weapon more powerful than the sword, and he first learned to cease all bodily functions for later restoration. The latter is a technique useful as present-day events mirror the past, and the Horseman meets Ana from the Shi title. Hank Kwon writes a decent enough adventure, and it’s a very confident debut from artist Mshindo Kuumba.
