By the time issue #66 of the Silver Age GREEN LANTERN rolled around, HAL JORDAN had left Coast City and his job as a Test Pilot, and was roaming the West Coast as an Insurance Investigator!!!  A rather unique secret identity for a space-faring superhero!  

Here, in a script by one of GREEN LANTERN's foremost writers, John Broome (the other being Gardner Fox) you get "5708 A.D. -- A Nice Year to Visit -- But I Wouldn't Want to Live Then!" , nicely illustrated by Mike Sekowsky and Joe Giella.

GREEN LANTERN travels once again to the future year 5708, where he finds his future colleagues under the mental control of two alien entities. He battles and triumphs over diabolical machines, and releases the citizens of 5708 from the mind controlthat had gripped them. There's also some obvious romantic attraction between GL and IONA VANE - who is a major reason GL keeps time-traveling to 5708!

This is a terrific-looking 56-year old Silver Age GREEN LANTERN #66 -- no creases, tears, pieces missing, or abnormal toning.
