Item Description

CAVEWOMAN was created by writer-artist Budd Root in 1993, and published primarily by Basement Comics. The story follows superhuman Meriem Cooper, a 19-year-old present-day woman who finds herself transported to Prehistoric times, battling dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures in the Cretaceous period.

CAVEWOMAN: RELOADED ran for 6 issues in 2006-2007 and reprinted (this time on heavier, glossy pages) the first 6 issues of Bud Root's original CAVEWOMAN comic book . . . with a few added pages and panels to flesh out the story.

RELOADED #6 is about the enhanced-strength Meriam  - the young woman sent back in time by, and along with, her grandfather - as she lives a life in prehistoric times without modern conveniences . . and with her 15-ft. tall gorilla pal, Klyde.  The black and white artwork by Root is unique and appealing, and his story is engrossing and full of action!  

More than just cheesecake! (I had nearly 20 of his CAVEWOMAN comics, but can only find this one in my archives . . . for now!)
