 *  The time has come for me to start selling my treasured High Grade Captain America collection. As a long life long collector of high grade comic books I completed this Captain America Run, Yes ALL 454 issues. It took me a little over 10 years to complete the entire run in the higher grades I was looking for. Some were cracked out from CGC / CBCS slabs. I currently do have a CBCS 8.5 Captain America #100 Listed on Hip. I will be listing the books in numerical order as time allows.

ISSUE #450 ( 9.2 NM-) 

Man Without A Country: Part 1 of 4. "Executive Action" Script by Mark Waid. Pencils by Ron Garney. Inks by Scott Koblish. Cover by Ron Garney. Federal agents bust into Steve Rogers' Brooklyn apartment and arrest the Living Legend for treason! Apparently Cap's brief alliance with the Red Skull did not go unnoticed by the government! And within a few hours, Cap finds himself in the White House standing before President Bill Clinton! But the star-spangled avenger is in hot water for more than just his caper with the skull! Evidently, top secret information about Project Argus has been leaked! And only Cap and the forty-second president had knowledge of the clandestine project! Faced with a very difficult decision, President Clinton decides it's best to send Captain America into exile across the pond! What is Cap going to do in London? Don't worry... Sharon Carter will keep him busy! (Note: The four-part Man Without a Country story was reprinted in 1998 in the trade paperback: Captain America Man Without a Country.) 32 pages.

Man Without A Country: Part 2 of 4. "Plan "A"..." Script by Mark Waid. Pencils by Ron Garney. Inks by Scott Koblish. Cover by Ron Garney. To clear Captain America's name, Sharon Carter and Steve Rogers hop onboard a train bound for Moldavia! They're traveling to the small country, because they think Machinesmith is hiding the powerful Argus cannon there! However along the way, four armored assailants attack! So Cap and Sharon jump off the train near a U.S. Air Force base! And then they steal an F-15 fighter jet! Wow, the star-spangled avenger and the former SHIELD agent are breaking all the rules! Plan "A" had better work! (Notes: This four-part story was reprinted in 2016 in the softcover: Captain America Man Without a Country Epic Collection. The softcover collects Captain America issues 444 thru 454.) 32 pages

Man Without A Country: Part 3 of 4. "Plan "B"..." Script by Mark Waid. Pencils by Ron Garney. Inks by Scott Koblish. Cover by Ron Garney. At the end of last issue, the Argus cannon shot down Cap and Sharon's F-15 fighter! And as shown on the harrowing cover, Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter are now freefalling to the ground over Moldavia! Oh boy, was this part of Cap's plan A or plan B or neither? If the Living Legend can pull off a miracle and get Sharon and himself to the ground safely, they will battle the Moldavian army next! And then the diabolical Machinesmith! (Note: This four-part story was reprinted in 1998 in the trade paperback: Captain America Man Without a Country.) 32 pages.

Thanks to the information that Machinesmith stole from Steve Rogers' mind, Captain America and Sharon Carter face a deadly double crisis in Moldavia! The robot mastermind has seized control of the SHIELD Helicarrier and set it on a collision course with Mount Hood! Oh no! Can the former Agent 13 somehow regain control of the Helicarrier from half a world away? In the meantime the star-spangled avenger must get to Camp David in Maryland to prevent Machinesmith from harming President Clinton and seizing the nuclear football! Courageously, Cap hikes eastward into Latveria and asks Doctor Doom for transportation! And surprisingly, the benevolent dictator provides it! So the Sentinel of Liberty is on his way back to the U.S.A. to save his beloved country one more time! Up for your consideration ans viewing pleasure comes this 4-issue set of Captain America books. The "Man Without a Country" was the Final story Arc from the Original 1968 First Series. These Black Cover books have always been super condition sensitive and susceptible to finger prints and wear. Issue #451 has eluded me for years in higher grade while the other issues are nice high grade NM books. All of the books exhibit Like New Quality with VERY minimal to no wear, #451 have a few small stresses. All are sporting perfect cover wraps giving them outstanding eye appeal. The interiors are flawless with white page quality.
