Lt. Colonel Travis Morgan of the United States Air Force is attacked while on a reconnaissance mission over Russia. Fleeing toward the arctic circle, he is forced to abandon his dying aircraft over the Yukon and parachutes through a swirling mist into the strange and unrecognizable land of Skartaris.

Travis Morgan is a USAF pilot flying an SR-71 Blackbird on a reconnaissance mission over Russia when his plane is hit by a missile. Fleeing across the North Pole, he ends up crash landing in an exotic jungle in the center of the earth, populated by dinosaurs and savage humans. Armed with only his .38 Service revolver and 12 rounds of ammunition, can he survive?

This book has very sharp eye-appeal on this all-time-classic Mike Grell 1st appearance cover wow! With standard cream pages and white inner covers! There is a bend-line across the base and a couple of short printer's creases above that along with a few light stresses on the front spine.
